We rescued Coco after she led a group of volunteers on a wild goose chase through several Mazatlan neighbourhoods. Finally she was lured to safety by some good-hearted people who gave her a steady food supply. We finally picked her up and took her directly to a vet clinic.
Remarkably, Coco's blood tests don't show any signs of disease and she was simply a very malnourished dog. Like many rescued dogs, we attempted to find her family through social media channels for lost pets. Like many dogs, no one came forward for her.
Coco’s recovery focused on eating well, gaining muscle and taking her vitamins. Her health turned around quickly and she blossomed into a gorgeous, if somewhat timid dog.
Coco was lucky enough to find a family fairly quickly and has gained a lot of confidence since her adoption. She lives in Mazatlan and enjoys her walks on the malecon and through Centro.
